You'd need to add a couple things to the cookie dough (it has no leavening), but besides that, I think the brownies would be overdone.....but since cookies tend to be quicker than bars, maybe you could add them halfway through? Or, you could cook both layers separately and then oh-so-carefully lay the cookies on top of the brownies, yeah? With the melted chocolate in between? Is that what you even meant? Haha. Anyway I like the idea--the cookie dough is really heavy on top of the brownies as is. Like, what would happen if you cooked the brownies, then put cookie dough on, then baked the whole thing again?
